The price of competitive work, or work in community settings for minimal wage or maybe more, of working-age people who have disabilities tracks behind people without disabilities in america. These data are much more alarming among Hispanic people who have actually disabilities. The objective of this research would be to explore the positive and negative experiences of Hispanic caregivers from a Midwestern state while they help their loved ones users with disabilities to quickly attain positive postschool results, including competitive work. We carried out semistructured interviews with 13 caregivers of family unit members with disabilities aged 14вЂ“25 years. Three key themes emerged from our analysis: (a) negative experiences with college educators, (b) negative experiences with community-based companies, and (c) good experiences and methods for overcoming obstacles. Implications for practice and research that is future talked about.
